Air Force Chaplaincy

To be entrusted with the spiritual care of people and leading them toward maturity in Christ is truly a distinct privilege and a joy.  My calling to serve the local church has never been stronger.  At the same time, I know there is a great need for spiritual guidance to our nations warriors to whom I also sense a calling to serve by pointing them to a "Rock that is higher than I" (Psalm 61:2).  

Twelve years ago I felt the Lord leading me into military chaplaincy where I have the distinct honor to serve our country and specifically the Airmen who serve to defend and protect our nation.  Over the course of my ministry as a Chaplain, I've been asked a couple of questions several times.  Check out this short video about my calling and ministry to our Airmen.  

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

We long for the day that Jesus returns.  Paul tells the Thessalonian church that they need to know nothing more about the timing because of who they are and what they already know.  So, rather than focusing on the times, we should focus on remaining faithful until that glorious day.
